A fire extinguisher is an essential tool for any vehicle and is mandatory for most organized group 4x4 runs. The Power Tank Quick-Release (QR) Bracket offers a simple, durable solution for mounting a fire extinguisher in your vehicle, boasting numerous features often overlooked by other manufacturers.
The QR Bracket can be flush-mounted to any flat surface, PALS, or MOLLE panel using the optional backing plate. Additionally, it can be attached to a roll cage tube with optional roll bar clamps, fitting 1.5", 1.75", 1.875", 2.0", and 2.25" tubes. You can also mount it to the side of your 10 lb. or 15 lb. Super Bracket if purchased in 2021 or later.
Constructed from 6061 billet aluminum, these brackets are sandblasted and anodized in either silver or black for a matte, textured finish that complements any vehicle. Precision machining with tight tolerances minimizes noise from vibrations, even in the toughest conditions.
The pull pin, featuring a bright red fabric pull for visibility, is easy to grab in an emergency and is attached to a steel lanyard to prevent loss. You can release the fire extinguisher in two movements if only one hand is available, enhancing accessibility during urgent situations.
This bracket includes hose clamps designed for fire extinguishers with a 3" diameter. A 2.5 lb. ABC Dry Chemical fire extinguisher is recommended, as it covers all vehicle fire sources: combustibles, fluids, and electrical fires.
Additionally, a second set of hose clamps is provided to mount a Pro Eagle Phoenix CO2 jack.
