The Monster Valve Tap2 Tire Deflator Kit by Power Tank features over-sized, lightweight, and robust valve stems designed to be installed as a second stem on your wheels. Crafted from 7018 aluminum, these valves are the fastest tire deflation and inflation product available, significantly enhancing your off-road experience.
With Monster Valves, you can deflate a 40"x13.5"x17" tire from 35 psi down to 10 psi in under 30 seconds. Additionally, the kit includes a Monster Chuck, which, when used with a Power Tank, can inflate the same tire in just 40 seconds. The Monster Valves are easy to install on both steel and aluminum wheels. Simply drill a hole with the included 'Q' drill bit, tap 3/8-24 threads with the provided tap, and screw them in. Clean threads are crucial for a leak-free Monster Valve, which is why the kit includes a high-quality straight thread 3/8-24 tap and a matching 'Q' drill bit. The straight tap is easier to start and avoids the risk of over-threading, ensuring smooth installation and clean threads. The all-aluminum construction makes each valve weigh just 1.1 oz, which eliminates the need for tire rebalancing, and provides a valve five times stiffer than standard metal valves.
As the Monster Valve acts as a secondary valve stem, it allows you to retain your TPMS sensors on your OEM valve stems.
